When something is weighing on you, and you need to understand yourself better.
Some periods in life can be difficult to face alone. Maybe you experience anxiety, worry or grief, are in the middle of a change, or notice that certain patterns keep repeating themselves.
In therapy, we start from what is weighing on you. Together we explore your thoughts, feelings, and relationships and become curious about what lies behind your reactions. The goal is not to find quick answers, but to create greater understanding of yourself and open up new ways of being in what is difficult.
I meet you with presence, curiosity, and recognition – and with an eye for both you and the relationships you are a part of.
A typical process
- We start from what is weighing on your life right now
- Together we become curious about your feelings, reactions, and ways of understanding yourself and others
- We explore the patterns you find yourself stuck in, and how they may have arisen
- We work to create a greater understanding of what is happening within you – especially when something becomes difficult
- You get the opportunity to discover new perspectives and other ways of handling what challenges you
- Along the way, we keep an eye on the changes you notice both in yourself and in your relationships
- The process concludes when you experience greater understanding, meaning, more options for action, and a better ability to stand on your own in what previously felt difficult and in which you could feel alone
